Initiated in 2005, and continuing each year as funds allow, the Encore Youth Theater, in association with
the Hartland Players, will present a one‐time scholarship of up to $500 to a graduating high school
senior/s to be used at the college of their choice. There are many factors that go into the
determination of the scholarship amount including but not limited to if applicant thoroughly filled out
everything in the requirements checklist below, Encore’s scholarship budget (which is determined by the
board), and the number of applicants applying.

This scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated special ability in and dedication to the
theater. Recipients are not required to declare a Theater major.

Application / post mark deadline is Friday April 8, 2022.
